Hey all, we’re looking to collaborate with a talented animator to help create animated sections for our short film ‘The Babysitter’ (produced by Shoot Cut Grade / Edge3X Studios). Principle photography was completed earlier this year, and we’re looking for the right person bring on board, as part of our application for funding under the Animation Pathways Fund. This person must be an Irish resident.

IMPORTANT BIT: The scheme specifically exists to fund “under-represented participants/individuals wishing to transition from other sectors and those who wish to return to the screen sector after a period of absence.” Particularly those from ethnic or sexual minorities, refugees from conflict etc. More details of the scheme here – https://animationireland.com/animation-pathways-fund/

The animated sections illustrate a child’s imagination and dreams, and we already have storyboards and animatics created. We have quite a specific look in mind also, very childlike yet fluid 2.5 animation. But we’re open to digital, hand drawn or other techniques.
